We envision a world in which local, national and transnational public interests are protected and promoted by international and European public and private law. Located in The Hague – the ‘International City of Peace and Justice’ – in the vicinity of many international institutions, diplomatic missions and government ministries, the Institute exercises strong convening power and attracts legal experts from around the world.
